Spring Is In The Air, Why Not Go Camping?

Spring is definitely in the air. Down here in Georgia, it already feels like summer. Trees are sprouting leaves, wildflowers are blooming, and there is plenty of sunshine to go around. The warmer air has me itching to spend all my time outdoors. Being that it is less than two months before the first week of camp, I can’t succumb whole-heartedly to nature’s charms. Myself, and the rest of the Adamah Adventures staff team, are busily preparing for campers to arrive and that means lots of time on the computer.Family Camp.jpg

That’s not to say that I am not getting outside. I’ve gone on several backpacking trips, a few bike rides, and I even planted this year’s garden. I encourage everyone to make the effort to spend a few minutes each day outside. This can be a quick walk around the neighborhood, weeding a flower bed, or even just having dinner out on the back porch. And if you really want to challenge yourself, join Adamah Adventures on our family camping weekend the first weekend in May.

What’s the benefit of camping with us, you ask? First and foremost, it’s quality time with your family. Without the hassle of buying and packing all your own camping equipment, you get more time with your family, out in nature. Second, you’re teaching your children the importance of spending time outdoors. You’ll be amazed about what kinds of activities and games they come up with when they don’t have electronics to distract them. Third, you’ll meet and get to know other Jewish families, more often than not, from your own community. It’s a great way to build Jewish community, and what better place, then in nature? Did I mention there are lots of fun activities to choose from and the food is delicious?

So, what are you waiting for? Sign your family up today for Adamah Adventures Spring Family Camping Weekend May 4-6. Questions? Give us a call at 404-297-4914 or click here for more information.
